Watamula is the northernmost site, located in a break in the cliffs between Westpunt and Noordpunt. This is a staff favorite. There are mushroom formations similar to mushroom forest but a bit bigger. This is a pristine site and is rarely dived.This is one of the best spots on the island for pelagic sightings since the currents converge here from the north (windward) side of the island. We have sighted Spotted eagle rays, Southern sting rays and whale sharks in this area. We do not promise these creatures but it is the best chance to see them.
There is no mooring at this dive site so it is a drift dive with a live drop and pick up from our boat.You should be an Advanced diver with 50+ dives or an open water diver with 100+ dives and be comfortable with doing a drift dive.
We need a min. of 4 divers and will take a max of 8.
